Cathedral High School (CHS) is a premier leader in education and sports, both within the local community and throughout the country. Since we opened our doors in 1925, our Catholic high school has been developing our students into thoughtful leaders and citizens.
At CHS, you'll be introduced to a STREAM curriculum that offers an opportunity to earn college credit at an early level. You can also receive individual counseling that allows you to fulfill your academic and collegiate aspirations.
The most recent graduating class at CHS is proud to display their phenomenal accomplishments, both in and out of the classroom. The class of 2020:
- Received $24 million+ in college scholarships
- Had five National Hispanic Scholars
- Had over 3,000 college credit hours
- Had a 100% college acceptance rate
- Had 55% of students with an academic or athletic scholarship
- Was accepted into 113 unique universities in the U.S. and Mexico
But perhaps the most important part of being an Irishman is having the opportunity to build comradery with your fellow classmates and brothers. The collaboration between our young men in school, community service and athletics shows that Cathedral is a wonderful place to grow and learn.
Irish Baseball 915 has continued its tradition of state playoff appearances under the leadership of Robert Perea, a Cathedral alum and former collegiate athlete at the University of Hawaii. During his tenure as head coach of the Cathedral Baseball team, he has sent on 7 boys to play collegiately at Dodge City College, New Mexico State University, USC, Columbia University, Colorado State, Northern Colorado, and EPCC.
